Accountant
Sarah has been working at Boston House for over 10 years. If anyone had told Sarah when she was in her 20's that she would be working in Accountancy later in life, she would have laughed, however due to a company restructure in 2001 that is exactly where she ended up. She took herself to night school with her son to study Accountancy and once the family had left home, Sarah went to college and studied for her AAT qualification which she achieved in 2012. When Sarah joined the team in 2014 she was thrown into moving our existing manual cash book clients to computer based accounts. Sarah said it was a bit of a shock but gave her a good understanding of each client and their requirements. Sarah keeps up to date with change and has fully embraced online cloud accounting with Xero. She looks forward to the monthly online webinars to see what is new in the online world and what she can use to make the customer experience more streamlined.
Sarah is married with 3 grown up children and 5 grandchildren. She enjoys trying to keep fit and spending plenty of time with her family.
